Why your outbound number gets flagged, and what it costs you

One number, a thousand calls a day, most of them unanswered. Every carrier on the route learns the same thing about you.

How a number earns its reputation

Carriers score numbers on behaviour: how many calls, how short, how many answered, how many reported. A number that dials constantly and is rarely answered starts to look like a nuisance line, because statistically it is behaving like one.

Once that score tips, calls get labelled on the handset, sent to voicemail, or dropped before they ring. Nothing in your software changes. Your connect rate just quietly halves.

What actually helps

There is no trick that beats behaving like a business somebody wants to hear from. Most of it is unglamorous.

The part nobody mentions

Fixing a flagged number is slow and sometimes impossible, and the remediation services that promise otherwise are charging you for a request anybody can file.

It is much cheaper not to burn the number. That is a dialling-discipline problem, not a software-purchase problem, and any vendor telling you their product solves it on its own is selling you something.
